Viking Sunset Studios welcomes you to Bali, the island of Gods

While our massive studio is being built in Tabanan Viking Sunset Studios (VSS) has opened our office and headquarters in the heart of Sanur Bali on Jl Danau Tamblingan 53. A fully soundproof studio for podcasts, photo shoots and a 20 m2 green screen wall are already there. The movie cave, on top of the building, yes we know… why would a cave be on top of a building? It simply functions as a creative hub to brainstorm and meet like minded people. Further are we hosting Scholars of Sustenance, but rent free, to support their great cause. SOS is Indonesia’s if not South east Asia’s biggest food rescue organization.

Eventually Viking Sunset Studios will be located in Tabanan on the majestic Beraban Beach. Views of the dramatic ocean, mountain, river and rice terraces, located on an exotic black sand beach. An attractive Balinese temple is located on a cliff with a cave. Enjoy year-round fabulous sunsets over the horizon behind the ocean surf and river inlets. Restaurants and entertainment venues can be found close by in Canggu or Seminyak, and touristic drives abound around the Village. This includes trips to the Unesco World Heritage Jatiluwih Rice terraces. Furthermore the famous Tanah Lot temple, cultural preservation experiences at several Puris (ancient castles), or simpler Balinese markets with genuine experiences.

The studio will feature a 20×40 meter sound stage and green screen. The beautiful Balinese surroundings right outside satisfying the most
critical of nature scenes. In addition VSS is an enabler, taking care of international movie crew needs for work permits, filming licenses, government assistance. Further offering easy access to local casting, sets, extras, coaching, location scouting, etc. including on-site high-end equipment and services in one place – a one-stop studio where teams can fly in with a manuscript, actors and crew to focus only on making great content!

Additionally VSS will offer International and Indonesian film making universities a fantastic venue, encouraging young film-makers to produce great content.
