Known for combining cinematic creativity with cost-effective production, Viking Sunset Studios will highlight its state-of-the-art facilities at the market — including Indonesia’s largest Limbo Green Screen, a fully equipped international-standard soundstage, and top-tier gear such as the ARRI Alexa Mini LF and Leica Prime Lenses.
At the heart of its innovation is the studio’s “film resort” concept, a first-of-its-kind model
merging film production infrastructure with a resort environment. Featuring on-site accommodations, restaurants, and a private helipad, the beachfront property allows filmmakers to work and live in one place, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes and Bali’s world-famous sunsets.
Innovating Film Production in Bali

The studio’s proven efficiency has already attracted a growing slate of international and local projects. Its portfolio includes feature drama Semusim starring Chico Jericho, a silent horror film with Putri Ayudhya, and the local thriller Bandit. Most recently, Viking Sunset Studios Co-Producing the UK production of a Netflix Guarantee film The Ghost and the Gun.
The film production successfully built and shot 1948 Malaysian sets on-site in Bali which was
originally planned to shoot in Malaysia, a record achievement for Bali’s film industry.

Holmgreen will personally represent Viking Sunset Studios at JAFF Market 2025, following
his attendance at the American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles.
